Your health data is processed on hardware What Comes Next controls. It does not go to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other third-party AI provider.
We do not sell your data. We do not have an advertising model. We do not share your information with data brokers.
This is not a typical privacy policy. We mean it.
Who we are.

What we collect
When you use The Spark, you provide:
- Your name, age, and occupation
- A description of your personal wellness goal
- A description of your daily routine
- Daily habit check-ins and journal entries during your 7-day Evolution cycle
We also collect:
- A push notification token to deliver reminders to your device (iOS via Apple APNs, Android via Google FCM)
- Basic usage data sufficient to operate the service
We do not collect location data, biometric data, financial information, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.
How your data is processed
This is the part that is different.
Local inference, hardware we control. When you submit a wellness intake through The Spark, your data travels over an encrypted connection to an API endpoint operated by What Comes Next. It is then processed by a locally-hosted AI model running on hardware What Comes Next physically controls. At no point does your intake data touch OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other third-party AI provider's infrastructure.
Your Evolution data — your check-ins, journal entries, and habit progress — is stored as plain text files on What Comes Next-controlled servers. It is not stored in a third-party cloud database. It is not processed by external AI services.
We use Resend to deliver your wellness snapshot by email. Your email address and snapshot content are transmitted to Resend for this purpose only. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Generate your personalized wellness snapshot
- Store your Evolution progress so you can access it across sessions
- Send you habit reminders and check-in prompts via push notification
- Deliver your wellness snapshot by email if you request it
We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Your Evolution data is retained on our servers for as long as you use the service. We do not currently offer automatic deletion on a fixed schedule, but you can request deletion at any time (see below).
