Doctoral researcher — habit formation and AI-personalized behavior change.
DBA candidate at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business studying how AI-personalized feedback changes habit formation. Twenty years of portfolio-scale technical program management — General Motors, Ford, Amazon, State of Michigan — turned on a question those disciplines rarely ask: whether the methods that deliver a $2M enterprise program also work on one person’s behavior. I built the platform that tests it, wrote the protocol that governs it, and am running the experiment on it.
Health and fitness practitioners do not do project management. Project managers are not known for being healthy and fit. My work sits in that intersection, with a delivery record on one side and a doctorate in progress on the other.
A 100-day minimal-risk field experiment on AI-personalized habit feedback, under Drexel University IRB review (HRP-504, study 2605011824). Dissertation chair: Dr. Mark Stehr, Director, School of Economics, Drexel LeBow.
I designed the protocol, built the intervention, and operate the infrastructure it runs on. The system delivers personalized behavioral feedback from a locally hosted language model — no cloud inference, no third-party processing, and no participant health data leaving hardware I control. The instrument is a React Native application; the analysis layer runs retrieval over longitudinal, participant-authored text.
